Daily Fantasy Football: Week 3

Whether you are a DFS (Daily Fantasy Sports) fanatic or new to DFS, we are here to help. Each week, the Fantasy 4um provides a recommended lineup for H2H or 50/50 leagues based on FanDuel pricing; we also provide general tips and tricks throughout the season to hopefully help you in your quest for DFS tournament glory. Let's take a deep dive into Week 3:
I believe in the Ryan 'Fitz-Magic' Fitzpatrick ($6,000) and Brandon Marshall ($7,400) stack this week. With Eric Decker likely sidelined with a knee injury in Week 3, Fitz-Magic will have no one else to throw to other than Brandon Marshall who saw 10 targets in Week 2 with Decker playing most of the game before leaving with an injury.

Currently, the biggest over/under lines are for the KC vs. GB game (49 points) and JAC vs. NE (48 points). Neither of these lines are compelling enough to need to start a player from one of these teams; however, the likelihood of a high scoring game combined with current salary values on FanDuel, I like James Starks' price ($6,500) if Lacy is out and Allen Robinson's price ($6,600) against New England. Robinson's Jaguars will likely be throwing a lot as they are favored to lose by 14 points; Robinson caught six of his 12 targets on Sunday for 155 yards and two touchdowns. Imagine if he had caught all 12!

Adrian Peterson ($8,900) is worth the high price tag this week. Maybe I'm just a homer, but AP brings incredible upside a high floor. All Day hit his stride last week, running for 134 yards on 29 carries and adding 58 receiving yards on two receptions. Peterson hasn't had a TD yet this year -- I think he gets at least two this week at home against San Diego.

This week, with Tevin Coleman likely to miss some time with a fractured rib, Devonte Freeman ($6,500) is undervalued on FanDuel. Freeman will likely get 15-20 touches if Coleman misses Week 4 as expected. In the same game, Joseph Randle is a decent value this week ($6,500); with Brandon Weeden starting at QB and Dez Bryant sidelined for another month, the Cowboys will likely heavily rely on the run game against the Atlanta Falcons.

With Desean Jackson sidelined another few weeks, Jordan Reed ($4,500) should get a decent dose of targets in Thursday night's game against the New York Giants who have given up 140 yards and three TDs in the last two weeks to opposing tight ends.

The NYJ Defense ($4,500) has put up the second most points in the last two weeks and is playing the Philadelphia offense who has yet to click in the regular season. Yet, they are minimum salary on FanDuel. Why? I'm not sure.

A great minimum salary kicker this week is Josh Brown ($4,500) who has put up the third best kicker fantasy numbers year-to-date, and he has a great Week 3 matchup at home against the Redskins. Yet, similar to the Jets Defense, he is currently costing you a measly $4,500. Kickers can win you a week, especially when you can snag a good one for minimum salary.
