Daily Fantasy Football: Week 9

Whether you are a DFS (Daily Fantasy Sports) fanatic or new to DFS, we are here to help. Each week, the Fantasy 4um provides recommendations and stats for DFS. We'll touch on some H2H and 50/50 value plays as well as give you tournament contest recommendations. Additionally, we'll provide general tips and tricks throughout the season to hopefully help you in your quest for DFS tournament glory.

Derek Carr #4 of the Oakland Raiders in action against the New York Jets at O.co Coliseum on November 1, 2015 in Oakland, California.

Alright, let's get started on Week 9!

Tom Brady
Phillip Rivers
Andy Dalton
Derek Carr

Upside Potential:
Eli Manning
Marcus Marriota
Ben Roethlisberger
Tyron Taylor
Drew Brees
Peyton Manning

Jay Cutler

Pick of the Week:
Derek Carr - did you see what Carr did last week against Darrelle Revis and the Jets? He was on point, throwing for 333 yards and 4 TDs. He's increased his yardage in each of his last three games since playing the Denver Broncos defense (whom he fared much better against the Aaron Rodgers). Expect Carr to have another great game this week in a high scoring matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Running Backs
Devonta Freeman

Upside Potential:
DeMarco Murray
Chris Ivory
Doug Martin
Jeremy Hill
Mark Ingram

DeAngelo Williams
Jeremy Langford

Picks of the Week
Devonta Freeman: in six starts, Devonta Freeman has not been held under 130 yards. Not once.
Jeremy Langford: although an unknown commodity, Langford is expected to get the bulk of the carries on Monday night against San Diego. His price point on both DraftKings and FanDuel is very favorable. We'd start Langford in almost any format of DFS for the high floor and upside.

Wide Receivers
Julio Jones
Odel Beckham Jr.
Julius Edelman
Antonio Brown
AJ Green
Demaryius Thomas
Allen Robinson

Upside Potential:
Mike Evans
Amari Cooper
J. Lamdry
Donte Moncrief / TY Hilton (if healthy)
Martavis Bryant
Dez Bryant
Sammy Watkins

Eric Decker
Stephon Diggs
Michael Crabtree
Willie Snead
Malcom Floyd
Dwayne Harris
Terrance Williams

Pick of the Week:
Alshon Jeffrey has been targeted on 34% of Cutler's passes in their three games together this year. After getting 8 receptions for 147 and a TD one week and 10 for 116 and a TD the next week, Jeffrey's price is still down $500 on FanDuel and $1,600 on DraftKings from when the season began.

Tight Ends
Greg Olsen
Gary Barnidge
Jordan Reed
Benjamin Watson

Charles Clay (If Tyrod Taylor is active)

Pick of the Week:
Gary Barnidge continued his outlandish production in Week 8, scoring his sixth TD in his last six games. Barnidge was seeing a lot of targets from McCown, but should see just as many from Johnny Football this Thursday.

Good luck this week! Let us know how you do @Fantasy4um
