Daily Fantasy Football: Week 15

The force was with young Jedi Knights Russell Wilson and Odell Beckham Jr. in Week 14 (over 32 points each). The Jar Jar Binks (unproductive annoyances) of Week 14 were Amari Cooper and DeAndre Hopkins who had the worst and second worst weeks of their seasons respectively. Who will be the Jedi Knights and Jar Jar Binks of Week 15? Let's take a look.
My stack of the week for Week 15 is QB Marcus Mariota ($7,300) and TE Delanie Walker ($6,300) despite their matchup this week against the evil emperor Bill Belichick. Mariota has the third most points of any QB over the last three weeks, and Walker is fourth over the same period. Walker is tied in second for most TE targets per game with 8.3. Moreover, Delanie Walker has been held under six catches just once in his last nine games. Fun stat of the week: over the last five weeks, Marcus Mariota has more receiving TDs than Julio Jones and Larry Fitzgerald combined.

This week, I will focus on the RB value picks. If you grab two inexpensive, high upside RBs, you'll have plenty of budget to allocate towards top WRs. The force seems to be strong with the following inexpensive RBs in Week 15:
  • Denard Robinson ($6,300) is expected to get the start Sunday against Atlanta with starter T.J. Yeldon considered doubtful (knee). Robinson is going up against the Atlanta run defense who has given up the second most FanDuel points per week to opposing RBs, a whopping 26.83 points.
  • Tim Hightower ($6,300) received a "Mark Ingram-like snap count" in the Week 14 tilt against Tampa Bay on Sunday, playing in 71% of the team's plays and getting 28 touches.
  • Charcandrick West ($5,900) could see an uptick in touches this week if Ware is out. Ware is currently listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Ravens. If Ware sits, West is well worth the $5,900 price tag.
  • Brandon Bolden ($5,500) is expected to receive an expanded workload after LaGarrette Blount was ruled out for the season. When Blount left Week 14's game in Houston in the second quarter, Bolden took the reins of the offense for the most part; he had a season-high 16 rushes for 51 yards after Blount's departure. New England will be facing a Tennessee defense who has given up the 11th most FanDuel points to opposing RBs over the last three weeks.
  • Foswhitt Whittaker ($4,800) "likely will start" Sunday against the Giants according to Panthers head coach Rivera; Rivera softened that statement by adding that Mike Tolbert could also start.
This is one to keep an eye on Sunday morning to see if Fozzy gets the official start. The New York Giants defense has given up the seventh most points to opposing RBs over the last three weeks. Fozzy is a high upside, high reward start in Week 15.
Good luck this week in your fantasy football matchups and tournaments. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions, and let us know how you do this week on Twitter (@Fantasy4um)

  1. Those are some really great pick suggestions you have made! Can you tell me how you have learned to make those picks? I have started with a guide that I found on https://www.dailylineups.com/ but I feel now that besides reading suggestions I should learn some strategies how to pick players on my own.
