Week 7 QB Rankings

Updated 10/20/15
*Denotes Injured Player

Tier 1 - Studs:  Luck is back and although he didn't quite look in midseason form last week, he gets another favorable match up against the porous NO defense.  I now actually have Brady as my #1 QB for the rest of the season, but he does face the tough Jets D this week, which would really only give me pause in daily fantasy, as if you have him in a yearly league you're starting him.

1. Andrew Luck IND vs NO *Probable
2. Tom Brady NE vs NYJ
3. Carson Palmer ARI vs BAL
4. Philip Rivers SD vs OAK

Tier 2 - Solid Starters: Brees has had three straight 300 yard games, so it appears that the Saints have abandoned their run heavy approach that was talked about so much at the beginning of the season.  Cam continues to put up solid numbers despite his poor supporting cast.  He is proving to be match up proof as he looked good against the Seahawks last week and should have had even a better day if it weren't for two rushing TDs from the normally invisible Jonathan Stewart.

5. Drew Brees NO @ IND
6. Cam Newton CAR vs PHI
7. Matt Ryan ATL @ TEN
8. Russell Wilson SEA @ SF
9. Eli Manning NYG vs DAL

Tier 3 - Bye Week Fill ins/QB2s: Its time to start looking at Blake Bortles as a viable fantasy option.  He now has three legitimate targets (Robinson, Hurns, and Thomas) and no running game to speak of... Oh yeah and their defense is still horrible so they're normally airing it out in the second half.  Looks like Dan Campbell is breathing new life into the Dolphins offense, so dust off your Ryan Tannehill if you still have him.  Finally, I also like Hoyer and McCown this week as bye week replacements if you have Rodgers or Dalton.

10. Ryan Tannehill MIA vs HOU
11. Blake Bortles JAC vs BUF
12. Matthew Stafford DET vs MIN
13. Brian Hoyer HOU @ MIA
14. Josh McCown CLE @ STL
15. Derek Carr OAK @ SD
16. Sam Bradford PHI @ CAR
Tier 4 - AYOs (All You Others): Keep an eye on Tyrod Taylor's status as the week progresses.  I don't think he plays this week in London, but in case he does, he becomes a startable option against the Jags.  Roethlisberger on the other hand, I think does have a good chance at returning.  Don't be fooled by Landry Jones' success coming off the bench.  He is absolutely terrible and he does not give the Steelers much of chance to win if he is their starter.

18. Ben Roethlisberger PIT @ KC * Questionable
19. Tyrod Taylor BUF @ JAC* Doubtful
20. Joe Flacco BAL @ ARI
21. Teddy Bridgewater MIN  @ DET
22. Colin Kaepernick SF vs SEA
23. Jameis Winston TB @ WAS
24. Nick Foles STL vs CLE
25. Alex Smith KC vs PIT
26. Kirk Cousins WAS vs TB
27. Matt Cassel DAL @ NYG
28. EJ Manuel BUF @ JAC
